Laura was raised in rural Essex. Aged 17 she joined the National Youth Theatre with whom she worked for four years. Whilst with NYT she devised and performed in Faliraki - The Greek Tragedy as the Greek Chorus (Lyric Hammersmith), Helena in Cell Sell (Soho Theatre) and Queen Isabelle in Henry V (Hackney Empire).  Laura then trained at The Manchester Metropolitan University School of Theatre where she was lucky enough to work with Marcello Magni, Helena Kaut-Howson and Irina Brown among many other incredibly talented types. Since graduating Laura has played Abi in Tell Me Lies (The Birmingham Hippodrome) and Candy Starr in Black Ram's recent tour of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Radio Credits include Edmee in Cheri and Nurse/Jean in The Golden Notebook (BBC Radio 4). Film Credits include Kate in Tom Thumb for Golden Eagle Productions. Laura enjoys writing, reading, food and film.
