Rachel trained at Queen Margaret University, where theatrical credits included The Tempest (Trinculo); Time and the Conways (Mrs. Conway); Bye Bye Birdie (Margie); Oedipus the Visionary (Messenger); Blood Wedding (Young Girl); and various roles in The Caucasian Chalk Circle. Whilst training she was selected to perform in the Sam Wanamaker Festival at Shakespeare’s Globe as one of the ‘up and coming talents of classical theatre’, and has since worked with Globe Education. She has also been in several short films, including leading roles in Repossession, for the Edinburgh 48hr film project; and The Man in Mind with Gateway Films. More recently she has performed with the Bedford Collective; as a guest Shakespeare performer alongside Helen Baxendale and Sara Markland for the London Oriana Choir; and devised and run her own drama workshops for primary schools. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead is her first production with Black Ram. |
