Venetia’s recent theatrical credits include One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Dr. Spivey) with Black Ram Theatre; Sex, Drugs, Therapy and Mayhem (Bernadette) which enjoyed a sell-out run at the Henley Fringe Festival; a self-penned piece for The Actors Centre with Alliteration (Deedee); Naughty Chekhov (Varya); Motortown (Jade); and an Open Air production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia) at Richmond Palace. TV and Film work include Channel Four Mockumentary Twat Clinical; Feature Film Maybe, Orpheus Didn’t Have It So Bad; and several short films including the lead in Shattered, which received a nomination for Best Short at the 2009 British Film Festival in Los Angeles. After gaining an MA in Philosophy and Psychology at Edinburgh University, Venetia went on to train at Richmond Drama School. She is also a performed playwright, with several projects currently under development. |
